All Bar One New Street Reopens Following Stunning Refurbishment & Expansion

All Bar One is set to reopen its New Street Station bar this March following a significant refurbishment and expansion, transforming the venue into a larger, design-led social destination at the heart of Birmingham’s busiest transport hub.

The newly enhanced space includes a full refurbishment of the existing bar and terrace, alongside expansion into the neighbouring unit on the East Concourse. The additional space introduces a second bar and a dedicated semi-private events area for up to 90 guests, creating greater capacity for after-work drinks, business breakfasts, brunches and celebrations.

Located within Birmingham’s New Street Station and Grand Central, and just moments from The Bullring, The Mailbox and Brindley Place, All Bar One New Street combines expertly crafted cocktails, tapas-style small plates and a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere, making it a natural meeting point for commuters, city workers and visitors alike.

The redesign introduces warmer tones, layered lighting and statement features throughout, including curved fixed seating, feature pendant lighting and an illuminated architectural screen surrounding the new seating area. The extended main bar has been reimagined to improve flow and service, while the second bar creates a distinct yet connected zone within the venue.

A standout feature of the refurbishment is the revamped external terrace, the only external hospitality space within the station, alongside the addition of an in-bar departure screen, allowing guests to keep track of train times without leaving their table.

There are lots of exciting launch activities planned, so keep an eye out for some freebies in New St Station on Thursday, 19th March.

A Message from the Team
“I can’t wait to get back open. This has been a long time in the planning, and we’re already a really successful business. The new, larger space means we can welcome even more guests. Whether you’re starting your night, celebrating something special or stopping by before a train, the new design is going to look absolutely stunning.”

A Message from Network Rail

All Bar One’s reopening marks the first phase of a wider plan to enhance the East Concourse as a destination in its own right. With a significant proportion of station footfall passing through this entrance daily, the investment reflects a commitment to elevating the experience for passengers and positioning the concourse as a vibrant food and drink hub.
