We are all about events here at Bread so we thought we would do a little round of all our favourite ones coming up over the month of September which includes comedy outings, live tribute nights and an abundance of green fingers…

POLINATIONS 

Friday 2nd – Sunday 18th September

Step into an epic super garden of magical proportions! Giant fabricated trees sit amongst thousands of plants and flowers co-planted by the city’s residents in Victoria Square! The spectacular free events programme started last week in this stunning installation and is going on till Sunday 18th September.


JOE LYCETT AT THE UTILITA ARENA

Friday 16th September

Stand-up comedian Joe Lycett, who’s fame has grown exponentially over recent months with his art instalments, political scandals and guest panel appearances on programmes such as BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg. The comedian now brings his show on the road with an arena tour stopping off for a show in his hometown of Brum.

THE OLD CROWN’S 654TH BIRTHDAY 

Saturday 17th September

Birmingham’s oldest pub is turning 654 this month and they are celebrating in style with circus performers, live music, DJs, cocktails and more! FLEETWOOD MAC NIGHT AT THE NIGHT OWL

Saturday 24th September

The Night Owl proudly present a night dedicated to one of the greatest bands of all time – Fleetwood Mac with live music from Fleetingwood Mac tribute. Fleetingwood Mac aren’t just another tribute band, with tacky wigs and fancy dress outfits. Instead, they bring across the live sound of Fleetwood Mac, with just one guitar, a keyboard, a drum kit, a man on the bass and of course, the vocals!

THE INDEPENDENT BIRMINGHAM FESTIVAL

Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th September

Get ready for a HUGE line-up of Brum’s very best restaurants and street food traders serving delicious food all weekend-long, washed down with glorious craft beers, delicious cocktails, and natural wine from Birmingham’s finest bars and microbreweries at the iconic Aston Hall. 


BIRMINGHAM PRIDE 2022

Saturday 24th September

Birmingham Pride 2022 will return this September! The carnival parade kicks off on Saturday at around noon, along with stage shows, cabaret marquee, dance arena, fun-fair and street party. Birmingham’s thriving gay clubs and bars around Gay Village will be hosting various parties and activities.
