London’s new soul & retro hotspot The Night Owl Finsbury Park is set to release their new Summer programme, ‘Summer of Soulful Sounds’, on May 27th with a very special launch weekender. The 3-day run will include samples of their regular events with some special guest spots throughout the week.
After launching during socially distanced covid restrictions in July 2021, The Night Owl has worked hard to become the fabulous destination that it is today. Now, they relaunch with a slew of amazing summer events from late May to the end of August to celebrate the bands, DJs and promoters that help keep things ticking along.
Having played host to some spectacular events such as Simone Butler’s Naked Lunch, Shindig Magazine’s Happening!, and iLive UK’s Soulfest Lounge, The Night Owl is no stranger to a party. Through curating their programme of events we have worked with a variety of promoters, covering an extensive range of musical styles and genres covering everything from Northern soul to jazz to mod & indie. Their colourful repertoire of events are what helps the venue stand out from the rest.
Some of the exciting names that will set foot in The Night Owl this summer includes PM Warson, who has been championed by the likes of BBC Radio 6; Big Boss Man, a hybrid of 60’S R’N’B, Latin, Soul, Bongo-Fuzz and Funk AND the Brazilian sounds of Theo Mizú & Banda. Not only that but we’ll see the faces of many classic club nights such as Soul & Retro club night ‘Dig?’, funk night ‘The Payback’ and more!
